I was an extra on the 80's film 'Clockwise' when I was about 5. Met John Cleese and got to stay in a posh hotel.

Oh and if you put the blade of your knife in the prongs of your fork, it makes my teeth hurt!!

That random enough? LOL

1 in 5 men is allegedly a transvestite. Something to think about in the office or shops... or watching a footie match.

i cant stand socks being dragggged along a carpet. even worse if they are wool. the sound makes my skin crawl and i get shivers.

i cant stay in a room if a wasp comes in and freak out if they come next to me - but that comes from being stung over 20+ times a couple of years ago when a wasp got stuck in my hair -at least i can laugh about it now but my heads still swollen in the area and i wouldnt cry if they got wiped out lol.

piglet- what is it about feet that you dont like? lol

love all animals and even pick up snakes even big spiders from zoos etc

but scared of the normal house spiders.

jay39 - glad you survived the wasps... Out of interest, did you have asthma prior to being stung by them?

We have two older VW camper vans - Seymour and Siegfried.

bob - yep ive had asthma for years and years (approx 11years or so) but it was only the last few years that it was diagnosed when i had a very very bad attack mixed with a chest infection and the hospital decided my bad chests needed investigating!!!. dont think the wasps had anything to do with it though and i still hate the little blighters

I discovered yesterday that the first ever police chase by motor car took place in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1900 - chasing a drunken horse rider :)

I woke up this morning with my left side of my face swollen and it feels like someone is sticking pins in my face. And I was told by the pharmacist that when I talk my left side of my mouth doesn't move as much as the right so I should go to the doctors. I told her that it is nothing and just the onset of a mouth ulcer but if it swells more then I will go doctors

Just got back in from my lovely meal with my fabulous hubby. He took me to anteboes my favourite Italian restaurant for our 9th Wedding Anniversary and the meal was fab and they had the musicians in tonight and Hubby got them to play 'I had the time of my life' and then asked me if I would do the honours of renewing our wedding vowels next year.

I said yes and then corrected him as it won't be renewal of vowels it will be a blessing as you can only get married once unless we get divorced which is not on the cards as we have no reason to get divorced.

So I am now on a mission to loss weight. I wont to loss at least 15 kg which is about 30lbs in 12 months.

Happy Anniversary AsthmaFamily

Asthma family,

how lovely ,so romantic xxxxxx

Glynis yeah it was and to top it off today he told me to look for an eternity ring. The kids asked what one of them was and he explained and told them about last night and asked them if they would like to get all dressed up on the day as well and they could be paige-boys and brides-maids and they got really excited.

Asthma family,

love to do that,

when got married I was 8 month pregnant, they left a baby car seat between us in the

car when married,

We stood by a posh car for photos and to top it all off,the house we went for fell through

5 days before we got married so we still got married and lived apart for 3 months till got another

house, just spent weekends at eachothers parents houses.

We had no party and honeymoon was weeks before we got married as booked up before got

pregnant ,hahaha bet your laughing xxxx

Nope I was 3 months pregnant with Ryan when we got married. I cancelled our wedding date that was 8 days before we got married as I found out I was pregnant and refused to get married 7 and half month pregnant then sadly lost that baby so re-booked the wedding and found out 2 weeks later I was pregnant again. But didn't let that stop me that time even though I had horrid morning sickness that next stopped. I was sick before we got married then as soon as we walked out the room I was sick again then straight after the photos before we got in the car I was sick again. I refused to drink the toss and had lemonade instead as I refused to drink as I drank with the pregnancy I lost so I was adornment I was going to do everything by the T this time around. We lived with his parents before we got married and stayed with them until Ryan was 6 months old when we finally got a place of our own. We are know trying everything we can to get a bigger house as this one is just too small for 3 kids as we only have 2 bedrooms

Asthmafamily,

aww you had it tough also.xxx

random fact-Children are so lucky these days, they have everything and still not as happy as we were x

That fact is so true. Loren has a DSi of her own and Ryan has a PSP and for christmas they wont Wi and a PS3. I have told them thy can one or the other but I wont be buying it as I will get it free as a gift with my mobile contract that is up for renewal with an upgrade in November so I will just buy them some games, another remote and a few little bits to go with which ever console I can get. And on top of that 6 weeks before christmas is Lorens 6th birthday and then 7 weeks after christmas it will be Ryan's 9th birthday. They also wont to but there dad a birthday present bigger and better than what they got him this year as well which is only 3 weeks after christmas. So it's uniform shopping next week and then I have to start on Loren's birthday shopping then go straight on to christmas shopping then go buy there dad a birthday present then go straight ion to doing Ryan's birthday shopping. Boy it's a busy expensive time of year right know

""It is a licence from Natural England that alows me to disturb and handle dormice which is a protected species. Other protected spp needing licences are water voles, all bats, Great crested newts, slow worms etc"" ..... -that is one of the strangest but funniest random facts ive ever heard of lol......

another random fact which is asthma linked- i get a really irritating itchy chin days before and during a bad asthma episodes!

My favourite colour is purple.

I LOVE HELLO KITTY!

DH bought the 'just out' PS2 for me to keep hands busy when I'd lymph transport prob that made my skin dry and itch incredibly, November 2003. I got very good at car racing and adventure games.

Recently unearthed and dusted off for SingStar.

especially for glynis who doesnt like house spider-here is a worrying random fact for you-

During the average human life, you will consume 70 assorted bugs as well as 10 spiders as you sleep.

.....nice...i only posts this as i have decided i am going to sleep downstairs tonight cos there is a HUGE daddylongleggs in my room yak

granny mo- i bet you are popular with the younguns being able to play that well......random fact -i was totally addicted and demented in equal amounts to a pc game called granny in paradise....man i was doing the game in my sleep!

jay39,hahaha

you going give me nightmares haha think better sleep with my mouth shut thats hard

for me cus chat to much.

going have to let my cat and dog go up and check my bedroom for me ,they love chasing crawly things xxxxxx

When someone makes me a cuppa, I usually forget to take it. Then I have to lift it carefully and try to sneak through to the kitchen before they notice the cup is still full.

Sometimes I get away with it... but mostly not.

dont sleep with eye make up on,you will get sore and swollen eyes

like a panda!!!

I have a lot of animals - 3 cats (Hannah, Squeak and Gizmo), 1 rabbit (Teddy), 1 leopard gecko (Charlie) and 2 fishies (Claude and Vincent).

I have two cats. Claude and Gizmo. Claude is a cuddly 8kg, black and white cat. Age 14 years, Paws the size of a lion's. Even more cuddlesome after a mini stroke which saw him in Pets A&E last year.

Gizmo is an elderly lady at 16 years. Pure white, domestic shorthair, sheds fur like there's no tomorrow but never looks as if her hair is thinning in any way. She has arthritis in one knee and has to take glucosamine tablet every morning though she can still do a 'floor to top of wall cabinets in kitchen' leap in one bound.

re the pets- i have 2 gold fish which i hate but my teen loves and they make me feel sick looking at them -not sure why, a guinepig who is blind in one eye and is notoriously bad tempered unless you are getting him food, 2 dogs- one (young daft as a brush) sighthound and an elderly sighthound who is as crippled as i am with arthritis. i clean the dogs with baby wipes every day to keep the dander down and they are 'furminated' constantly. the pig is indoor but im no where near when he is cleaned out as the hay flying in the air makes my chest bad. its odd how many of us have pets when they are often a trigger, but i wouldnt be without mine x

You can buy designer loo roll with all sorts of designs HONEST!

Thanks Katina, Don't think I want to go into that. LOL

Sub-contractors

The high quality granite paving setts for the new street regeneration were being dropped by hand, two at a time from high up on a lorry to street level today. Ah the high level of expertise we have working for the council.

Last week we saw them howk out the poles that held the hanging baskets with the help of a chain and a digger to which the chain was attached. First off, using a ladder, someone was sent up to retrieve the baskets and hung out from the ladder in a way that suggested the whole operation being run by and filmed for, something like an accident claims firm.

Baskets down, it was time to take out the pole. Needless to say, they had not calculated for the fact that a might yank from the digger would result in a previously cemented-in pole, not moving in an orderly fashion. It came out with a thunk, swung around nearly taking the workers with it and giving the digger driver in his cab, a helluva fright as it bounced towards him, judging by his expression. The others all slapped each other's backs and laughed. Subsequent poles had their concrete drilled out first.

PS this was all happening down the centre of the dual carriageway as the traffic was passing. Jolly lucky not to take a car or two with them. I note the erection of big plastic barriers between road and middle this week.

Random fact - Daughter's flatmate is scared of cotton wool and candy floss.
