Pet free accommodation for asthma sufferers

My daughter's asthma is triggered by cats and dogs and when trying to find a hotel to stay in in Devon those that did not accept pets did not accept children either. I would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions of places to stay or websites that I could look on.

They do only offer self-catering accommodation though.
