Serevent and Clenil - how long for improvement

As we continue to battle to get this exacerbation under control my dd has now been given Serevent and Clenil Modulite 50 by our asthma nurse.

The Serevent is 2 puffs twice a day but I'm still waiting for confirmation on the Clenil (the nurse wrote down 4 puffs twice a day but the sticker from the chemist says 2 puffs twice a day) plus ventolin four times a day and all taken through a large spacer.

My question is how long will it take for us to see some definitive improvement on this new cocktail? If she has one or two asthma attacks today or tomorrow is that long enough for the drugs to have got on board? Or should we not be seeing any asthma symptoms on this?

Any input welcome!

Ive been given clenil today after asthma being confirmed. i read through the leaflet when i got back from the doctors and it says that it can take a few days til it shows effect. Others who have personal experience of it will be help better id imagine though.

should start to see an improvement after a few days, and over the next week or two the benefits will really become apparent.
