question for all
Hi I have long covid for a 1 year now. I too am sick of chronic pain. Practically lost my mobility and hardly go out now. I have constant nausea and have lost a lot of weight. I'm so tired. When will it ever go away. So sorry for you as well.
Hello, I have COPD and contracted COVID 19 at the very beginning, because I had COPD my COVID was put down to chest infection and 3 sets of emergency meds later there was no improvement. Then 3 months later I had strange sore toes (COVID toe) I was immediately sent to the spacesuited staff and tested for COVID, which after 3 months was negative...I took a long time to semi recover, then last year I got covid again, just the very first day I went without a mask!! this made me very ill and I tested positive for almost a month...all without seeing anyone...hell!
I am now on oxygen 4 litters, hating it but trying my best to make a life with it. I can drive provided I use the prescribed amount. When sitting or at rest I dont need the oxygen, but the concentrators do not have a remote control, so by the time you walk to switch off and return to the chair you are breathless again. There are 2 concentrators in the house one up and one down.....7 tanks allowed a week, lasting 2 hours. So you have to ensure that if you go out you always carry a spare. I use a stroller.walking aid to carry the oxygen as it is heavy. If I shop I put the tank in the trolley.
Tricky life but it is a life and you have to try and work around it. Good luck
So sorry you're still feeling so ill with long covid.
The Asthma and Lung UK charity has a web-page about your condition which you can visit here: asthmaandlung.org.uk/condit...
Hope this helps.
