Hes doing okay for the moment his changes are still the same although he's started to get frightened of doors when they open so we have bought wedges for all the doors at home

I used to have two border Collies. One was crossed with a retriever and was a right little pain. He was long haired and a beautiful golden colour. The other was Grey and curly. He was a pure breed and was the perfect dog. He always knew instinctively how to behave. Now because the golden one was so beutiful everyone tried to pat him and I had to warn them he was unreliable. They didn’t like the grey one because of his colour. Now you could smooth him and he was so friendly. I was wondering if you’ve ever experienced that with your dog. To me he’s gorgeous. But I love all animals. It’s a case of having to with my cat because up until I suppose three years ago he had bitten and scratched me many times. He’s thirteen and a half now and has calmed down a lot. There again he’s golden and a bit like a tiger. He brought me a rat a few weeks ago and left it on the grass for me to get rid of.
Your dogs sounded wonderful...I love a collie so intelligent and always need a job to do ..I like cats but they can be unpredictable just like dogs ...
Stan loves everyone but since having dementia diagnosed he's going through lots of change at the moment in his little world 🖤
Aww! That’s sad. Luckily non of mine had dementia. It’s always a worry when your animal gets old.
I loved all my animals, despite being bitten and scratched by the cat I’ve got now. I had two or three visits to minor injuries from him. I don’t know as anyone would put up with it. He has calmed down now but I wouldn’t trust him 100%.
I used to have a black+ white border collie,v loving& intelligent.x
They instinctively know how to behave. My Sandy dog loved to play fetch. You could throw a ball 100 times and he would make a straight line for it. My other one which was the pure breed used to go round in a circle as ifvrounding up sheep. We had him as a little puppy so he had never been trained to do that. Very clever.
Mine used to love getting the ball and bringing back,kids loved to play with him.he used to lie in wait like sheepdog,whn he saw a dog in the distance )) x

Absolutely devastated trees down flash floods on the roads not been good at all sadly 😬
oh no that’s so sad. The ground always seems to recover, sadly older trees are not easy to replace. I think we have got off lightly. We did take a bashing from fires around the coast in the hot weather.
It's incredible the summer was so warm even last week I was walking in shorts and tshirt... the ground got so dry now we have had so much rainfall and winds the trees suck the water and branches get heavy... helping them to fall in the high winds 😔
It was incredible last week. Apparently the beaches were packed with it being half term. We’ve had trees in blossom around here. The hedgehogs aren’t hibernating- everything is confused. 🤷🏻♀️
