Just taken the cakes out of the oven smells fantastic ill let them cool down and do the buttercream frosting. I've now put the moussaka in the oven then job done 👍🏼

I stick to my evening tipple. It's funny Really when I have been out with my Dutch friend shopping he always calls at a taverna for a beer I always have a frappe ( cold coffee ) I only have my tipple under the stars it gives me peace

Where did you learn to cook? Your list sounds delicious but I would prefer fresh cream. I would have thought that cooking in the heat of Greece would be challenging?

Never a challenge it's my therapy 😂 grandmother and college but couldn't afford to go catering college to expensive

It's nice to have fresh fruit straight from the trees all fruits the grapes are so sweet once I have one I don't stop eating them which is a problem when you have a carrier bag full of them 😂😂😂
All of it looks fantastic. Love moussaka too. Unfortunately I would have to forego the cake because I'm diabetic. Ah well will have all the rest. You're a genius!

Hi good morning you sound like a good cook matey i can cook but some times cor be bothered now / here its over cask we had rain in night . light breeze not doing much today i have had for my breakfast this morning sausage on toast then bowl of cornflakes no sugar dont have it & a cuppa tea just thinking of little excerises thats it hope you have a good day👍👍👍

I have Greek mountain tea it's made from mountain flowers and is not just beautiful tasting but it helps with digestion and detoxification so all round goodness

Stop it! I've trained myself not to like cake since I had a heart attack yonks ago+ B is diabetic and I have to keep him on the straight and narrow. I don't like cake; I don't fancy a bit of your chocolate and orange fudge cake; I don't like cake; oh the agony - the terrible withdrawal symptoms; what are your pictures doing to me? ( Wouldn't mind a bit of moussaka though.)😢😢😢😂😂😂

Ok you can have moussaka and I'll sneak you some banana cake with chocolate chips white dark and milk chocolate chips . You can pretend it's a soft pillow but just nibble at it 😂😂😂
How do you manage to cook and bake in that heat? Last weekend it was 'only' 30 degrees here and I couldn't have rustled up any culinary delights for toffee!

I rely on being able to cook to focus and level myself like I said it's my therapy it's basically like taking meds because you need to so I adapt it isn't hard when you need to 👍🏼👍🏼

Would you like fresh feta with a little black pepper and olive oil to complete it and a vegetarian moussaka is easy just skip the mince beef 👍🏼

for me pasta pesto could only ever be eaten hot -& as is -without salad.Unfortunately I dont like cheese
That said - to be fair - if dad or mum cooks a spag bol I can get a handful of grated cheese & grate it on but i have to mix it right in before i eat it

😂😂😂 I'm used to eating pasta hot or cold being out here. So many pasta meals here are eaten both ways . And as you can guess cheese is important to Greek meals. But I get where you are coming from

Made that the other day 😂 I eat 99percent of Greek meals the odd shepherd pie or sausage egg and chips about all the English food I eat . I'm here alone on my ESA I manage.

Unfortunately i can never have a holiday overseas again -because of my lung condtion & because I cant walk very far -so cant even have a holiday in the UK
(Apart from when the temperatures have been too high to sit outside) when the temperatures are in the 20s in the UK & its warm -even taking my deckchair to my back garden is knackering

Before coming out here which wasn't supposed to be a permanent thing . I had my condition under control but an issue occurred and I got grounded here and after three and half years of fighting to get any medication the damage was done now I can't fly back yes the heat is good for my breathing when the humidity is low , but I can't walk very far and I'm stop start every twenty yards . I understand your frustration completely

Santorini is incredibly expensive and if you want a cheaper and very similar experience go to Folegandros which is quiet but village on cliffs edge just like Santorini but half the cost

My lungs wouldn't let me , I suffer from frequent blackouts and seizures due to hypoxic attacks , plus with my regularity of my meds through my machine I can't exactly plug my machine into the aircraft 😂
