I'm keeping everything crossed I seriously need a breeze , been advised today to get a dehumidifier and quickly it will make inside the house better for oxygen and less humidity in the house .

Had a really tough day today and was on a real downer so being asked to Cook something out of nothing for a family of four kept me busy and got me out of a sad day

Today as been a bad day and I just feel like I have hit rock bottom this heat making matters worse obviously . In a lot of pain today something I rarely talk about but I had some morphine to help something I don't like having to use . I'm getting to the stage where it's harder to cope with everything that is going on and you feel like throwing in the towel I sat this evening thinking what would it truly matter if I was here or not . It's a fine balancing act mentally and getting harder. I'm sure we all have these days but being here no family around and my health just draining away it's worse than being on a cheap rollercoaster ride. Hoping tomorrow is better for us all , 👍🏼👍🏼😬

Days like that are hard to bare! I find the mental anguish worse to cope with than the physical stuff lots of the time. I understand the dark thoughts. You really are a valuable human being though who offers even us here, who you’ve never met, encouragement with your passion for you recipe creations, beauty through the photos that you share with us of serenity in a world that’s fraught. You have purpose so don’t chuck your battery out your cheap watch yet!

Think the mainspring in the watch is broken 😂 I keep going even though it gets harder . For me even with the beauty around me it's the pure emptiness, like you said it's not the physical stuff I can pretty much deal with that it's the fact Im here alone sharing a space with a shadow . Thanks for truly understanding where I'm coming from. And the cheap watch jibbs 😂👍🏼

I know the world is a scary place right now and difficult to find a safe place to be. Even my shadow agreed with that it's under the bed right now 😅 I guess for me it's the fact when things get bad it's comforting to hold on to someone. The night my stepfather passed away he held my hand and looked at me and guess had comfort he wasn't alone .

That's good news buddy , doped myself up with morphine last night lots of pain and discomfort finally settled around five thirty. No breeze no air and woke up angry 😂 I'm ok now 😂

New Turkish barbershop in the village, treated myself to a haircut 💇♂️ 👌 and a shave. Excellent value. Ribeye steak,fried New potatoes, mushrooms, sweetcorn, fresh garden peas. Not bad as down to my last half a million.

It sounds funny really because I always suffered worse in the UK with bout's of bronchitis and pneumonia but yet again I had bronchial pneumonia when I was two which nearly killed me. Here until obviously I found I was small cell c I was clear of those problems

I hope you don’t get visitors walking in. 😹🤣The trouble is there’s no getting away from it is there. Would you be cooler on the sea front? Maybe find a shady spot there. Water always seems to make it cooler. That’s if you are able to get there.

Didn't get my swim unfortunately, I had a extremely bad night and pretty much all day today been the same . Breathing problems to the max . Feeling so fed up with it still sat outside with another JD trying to make sense of everything. Hope you have had a good day 👍🏼

I’m sure it is. I had a brother in law who lived in Athens and they used to go away for the summer as it was so hot. They said it was unbearable in the summer. I don’t know how they stick it with all the buildings around in Athens. Is it a stone built place you live in. That’s much cooler than the modern ones.

No it's concrete unfortunately and even though we'll ventilated the heat outside is so intense you cook inside and out. White buildings reflect the heat but when their all white they reflect on each other. It's 39 degree tonight no breeze

No . In hospital at moment I collapsed on way home , 02 levels crashed to 82 blacked out in street . So on oxygen in hospital and being monitored.

I didn't get for my swim I had a bad night, in honesty as each day goes by it feels like it is just one less and there are days when I long for it to all be over but I guess we all feel that way sometimes. I keep ticking though 😂

Yes i know what you mean. I have been through it the last 8 weeks and now have the threat of going into hospital to sort me out tom. My list of ailments is getting ridiculous now and feel what is the point sometimes. I think struggling breathing must be amongst the worse Dave, but you manage to brighten our days with your cooking and sunset pictuures. Keep going even if its for all of us on HU and don't forget you have many wonderful friends in Rhodes 😊

I do keep plodding along I have the odd good day but recently they seem to get less and less and my friends are aware this is happening and getting concerned , but as the oncologist said mentally I am working to order 😹 it's not easy watching your body turn against you but it happens .

Hi , BP high , 02 levels getting better slowly keeping me in for observation as my heart rate is erratic, seen the cardiologist and he will be monitoring me through the night , nice and cool in here . Speak more when I get released.
