Covid jab number 5

I have just been invited by the nhs vaccine centre to have a fifth covid vaccine. I explained that I had already had 4 jabs with the latest one done in early February 2022 but the lady said that if I hadn't had one since March '22 then, as I was Immunosuppressed, I still needed jab number 5 and she then booked it.

Has anyone else had 5 jabs

Hi, I had my 5th just over a month ago. It has also been recommended that we get a 6th in the autumn as long as it's 6 months from the 5th one

I had my 5 th vaccine at the end of may.I had a text to book it. I managed to get an appointment for the next day,which was good.

I’m CEV.

IVe stopped trying to make any sense of it.

If they send me a communication about vaccination,I just go with it.

I have enough coping with my RAand ILD to cope with.

I had Moderna vaccine,the day after I felt very gluey.

Yes i had my 5th jab last Tuesday

Had my 5th at the beginning of May, I was booked in at midday and at least 5 other people before me had had their 5th that day.

I know this will go against everything but I have decided I dont want anymore vaccines. If 4 cant keep me safe and we dont know what affects this can have on our system then I am opting out and will take my chances. Everybody must make their own choices but I felt so poorly after the last one that i said then no more. Its great if you want it and get this offered but I feel that i must decline. Hope all goes well for you x

Hi blue ,I had my fifth yesterday ,I had my fourth Feb 3 ,I got covid 11weeks after my forth ,I wasn't going to have my fifth as I lost faith ,but after speaking to my gp he had advised I took the fifth ,he said it was a good job that I'd had four jabs as my covid could of been a lot worse,that was a different way of looking at it ,so yes I had fifth yesterday

Hi all, I’m CEV and had all the shielding letters etc but have only had 3, my last being October. I’m in north west, are there any differences in regions with administration I wonder?

I'm in northwest. Daughter just booked her 5th jab. She is immunosuppressed.

I’m exactly the same as you. I live in the South East and would really love a 4th vaccination but even though I had all the letters and shielded, I am not classed as eligible.

As I understand it the group getting the 4th jab is either immunosuppressed or 75 and older

Hi it’s not to do with being CEV it depends which immunosuppressants your are taking. I think it’s over 20mgs Methotrexate & Biologics. You can check on government website. I didn’t get an invite for 5th but website allowed me to book it x

Funnily enough, I had my 5th one just today. I'm also immunosuppresed.

The powers that be have obviously been convinced that some people will have to have regular jabs, giving the drug manufacturers a good return on their investment. The jabs were obviously sucessful in reducing the overall severity of covid but failed in every other respect . Consequently I stopped having jabs after two.

I had no antibodies after first 2 then caught Covid it’s a year ago now & still not well at all so have continued to have my next 3.

I had my 5th jab last week and am really suffering. Really severe muscular pain in my back on the left (had my jab in left arm - coincidence?). Hoping it goes away soon. Am on the high priority list. Had my 4th jab at the end of December 2021.

I had mine about 2 months ago but live in Scotland who were very quick off the mark. Had major problems after it so will not be getting the autumn booster in October.
