Just been reading other posts re chest infections being contagious im sorry to say they are dr been today to my hubby he told me yes hubby is contagious wash ur hands use hand santizer and wear a mask like i do when i go into hubby.

I would think it depends on what’s wrong. I’ve had a chest infection virtually all my life and can’t say that I’ve ever infected anybody else. More like they infect me with their coughs, colds and sneezes.

My GP said I'm unlikely to infect anyone unless I cough directly at them, but to keep hands washed (you tend to put your hand to your mouth when you cough, don't you?!) to avoid spreading germs through contact. xx Moy
