Hi There

Is anyone on here taking eklira? I started taking it about 7 weeks ago and am having really bad headaches. I know it is a common side effect but l do not get headaches very often and was wondering if anyone has this problem. I was hoping that they may fade as l got more used to the drug but it is not looking very likely. The drug has really helped with my breathing when walking uphill so l do not feel like giving up on it yet. Any advice re this drug will be much apprecuated. Thank you.

Hi Maureen.....I do not take Eklira.....but if you type Eklira into the search box on the top right hand corner of this page , you will find previous posts about the medication.

If you are in the UK, the BLF have a helpline ...contact by phone or email.....details on the main BLF site.

Best wishes

Thank you for your reply. I now think it could be something else as woke up with terrible headache and my whole body ached. Must be something else which would be a relief as it really helps. Regards Maureen

No. No side effects-in fact little effect at all. Breathing unimproved-only drug which does allow me to get on with life at all normally is Prednisolone-which am denied now, unless have extreme exacerbation.
