Hi

Practice pursed lip breathing,

In through nose 4 seconds, hold for 2 seconds (optional) breath out for 6 seconds, ( time not to critical less in more out)

If this is a regular occurrence you may have to sleep raised up.

I too am at stage 4 and and I am breathless when I move to sit on the side of my bed when getting up and that it takes a while to settle - if it is really bad I take my rescue inhaler but usually try and wait until I have taken my 2 daily inhalers and usually settle down after taking these - I put the breathlessness down to the shock my body gets with moving after a long period of resting - my body being a bit slow - as I am with everything now - in adjusting, Hope that helps take care xxx
