Fostair
Similar - an annoying cough but not only after taking Fostair, it could be anytime of day/night. I'm not very active but easily breathless,, esp talking on the phone; forever apologising whilst I cough. Still v difficult to get to speak to a GP..... Sorry no remedies, drinking lots of water. Hot lemon & honey in the morning.
Do you use a spacer with it?I’ve been on Fostair for years, it makes me cough if I take it without a spacer.
Contact your asthma nurse or the nurses on asthma uk. They will have some tips that might help.
A long shot, but worth mentioning. I developed aspirin sensitivity at the age of 24 and I was allergic to the propellant in my asthma inhalers (aerosol) as a consequence. Aspirin sensitivity occurs in adulthood and between 10 & 20% of asthmatics develop this syndrome. If you're on aerosol inhalers then changing to dry powder inhalers may be the answer. But if you're already on a dry powder version of Fostair it may be that you've become sensitive to one of the ingredients - I think they use lactose monohydrate, so this may be the culprit. It's not uncommon to develop sensitivities and the fact that the inhaler is causing breathlessness should be followed up by your asthma nurse or doctor.
Hi
Do you use a spacer ? I’ve found when I use the spacer it massively reduces the coughing
