I have suffered with ibs for quite a few years now, but now I’m getting a strange feeling in my stomache as if it either feels really sore in side or is it just my bowls full of wind that is travelling around my tummy x has anybody else had any symptoms like this

Quite possibly, but then this is probably the wrong forum to be on. I've had IBS for 45 years. Pain, particularly in the bottom left corner of the abdomen, is quite common for IBS sufferers, because there's a tight bend there; but you can get pain in the other corners and elsewhere - it's not a very specific complaint and is generally diagnosed when there's nothing else obviously wrong. If you're worried, see your GP, but I can understand your reluctance to have too many invasive tests!
