Muscle pain and fatigue

Hi I haven't been on for a while trying to sort out my body lol . I have been having severe muscle pains , in my back and shoulders , neck and also around my ribs . I do have costochondritus which does cause back pain and rib pain , but I was just wondering if the Symbicort 200 is contributing to the pain. I did ask my Asthma nurse but she wasn't much help . Just said to reduce my inhaler to 1 puff twice a day instead of 2 puffs twice a day . I am too scared to do this but I'm getting really down about not being to do anything because my muscles hurt so much . My breathing is not bad at all , a bit of mucus but not wheezing. I take Omeprozole and also Montelukast. I also feel shaky and my anxiety has increased. Has anyone had anything similar with Symbicort or costochondritus . I have started taking vitamin D also as my levels were low . Thanks x

Hi! I can’t even remotely answer all your questions, but just to say that while Symbicort 200/6 causes me to have more muscle cramps, I don’t get pain, but then we are all different. I am on the same dose as you.

Thanks Wheezycat for your reply , yes we are different and I think that I'm just clutching at straws thinking it was the medication that is causing me so much aches and pains . In all honesty I think it is the inflammation caused by the costochondritus that is giving me the pain , as I have been lifting the shopping bags and carrying heavy washing basket , putting it on the line . So thinking about it I think it's that . But I do get very anxious and then I get worried. Viscous circle really lol
