Chewable Singulair

Hey,

When I was discharged from hospital they discharged me with Chewable Singulair x2 at night. So it's exactly the same as my old dose, just in 2 tablets. I'm more curious than anything as to why. Any suggestions or just a case of they ran out of 10mg?

Thanks

pretty sure it'll just be a case of what the pharmacy had in stock! otherwise you'd have been waiting for months for you discharge meds! Your'll get your normal ones next time on repeat from the GP!

I've had these before - I was told it's just because the hospital pharmacy didn't have the adult ones in stock (the 5mg chewable ones are paediatric tablets) and taking two is equivalent. I actually prefer them, as it cuts down on the tablets I have to swallow and they don't taste bad.

my son has been perscribed theses.
