Association of Low-Dose Aspirin Use With Prevention of Colorectal Cancer- more good news for those of us on aspirin therapy.
Increasing
aspirin
dose and duration of use were significantly associated with reduced CRC risk compared with never use of
aspirin
.

Question about aspirin.
I don't really understand ITP and why at a mild level it is even a consideration and what it means when I have petechiae, I am concerned about whether or not I should be taking the daily
aspirin
. Does anyone else have this issue?

Should I stop aspirin before non cardiac surgery.
I am due to have surgery for a hernia next month and have had conflicting information as to stopping the
aspirin
on the run up to surgery. Has anybody else on here had to go for a non cardiac operation following their heart attack and what did you do regarding
aspirin
?

Aspirin vs apixaban and other blood thinners
Has anyone here with atrial fibrillation been prescribed
aspirin
rather than other blood thinners like apixaban? I would rather take
aspirin
but my cardiologist prefers apixaban. It seems like there is research that goes both ways. My GP rolls his eyes and says opinion changes from year to year.

Low dose aspirin
Looking back on past blood tests I noticed that since I was put on the low dose
aspirin
, due to being diagnosed with angina at the beginning of last year, my haemoglobin levels have dropped a bit although not to the point of being anemic until now.

Aspirin/Inhixa timings
I usually do my injection at 7pm, I read that it’s best to take
aspirin
in the evenings so can I take them at a similar time or do I need to separate the timings ? Thanks In advance. Xx

Enteric-coated Aspirin, anyone?
My GP changed my prescription from dispersible to Enteric-coated Gastro-resistant
Aspirin
to try to deal with morning queasiness, but there's no instructions from him or the dispensing pharmacy on the best time to take these.

Angina, low dose aspirin
I am wondering if the fact I am on
aspirin
and pantoprezole are anything to do with the low iron, as looking back on past blood tests my haemoglobin levels were higher before taking
aspirin
.
