Hey! im 28, suffered with endometriosis for 4 years. Since late October I have been having new bad symptoms, ive had 2 US one showed just polyps the other showed nothing.

ive beginning to have bloody discharge, bleeding when I shouldn't, lack of energy, lower back pain and urinating more. the dr did some general bacterial swabs and all came back fine, said my cervix looked angry and possible follicles. As I was already waiting for a gyna appointment they left it as that. I am concerned this could be a lot more than just endo and something serious as ive never had these new symptoms before. I am seeing a Dr tomorrow and wondered for any advice please. Seeing my Gyna two weeks on Friday also.

thanks xx

Hi there Jessica,

It sounds as though both you and your doctors are doing the right thing. You have had the correct examinations and you are able to tell the doctors about your symptoms.

We suggest keep explaining your symptoms and how you feel. If you are unsure of what they are telling you , ask if they have any written information, this will encourage them to explain more to you.

Also, Endometriosis are a fantastic charity (if you haven't already come across them) who can advise and support.
