Hi everyone, I'm new here,I am 52 years old, and have gone through the menopause, I have been having some issues with my bowl and bladder also, and had a colonoscopy in November, and they removed sessile adenomia polyp, which came back as benign, Thankfully.

I then soon after, I started getting pain and I started bleeding very heavy ( thought i was hemorrhaging) in December, I Had severe back, stomach and sharp pains in my groin, pain in hips, i tried to see my GP, but she was not available, so I saw another young Dr, who was brilliant, she took blood and examined me, then referred me to have a trans-vaginal scan, I was called the same day, to say I was being fast tracked, and that my blood showed raised CK levels , a few weeks later, had biopsy's taken from my womb and cervix, had abnormalities on my cervix ( although previous gyno said all looked normal) and had them burned off. All went ok, I had no pain or bleeding after.

It's now 4 weeks later, I have just received my results back that all polyps/cells were benign, again, very thankful, however, i am still in a lot of pain, (Back, stomach, pelvic area) most of the pain killers just take the edge off. and I am bleeding heavier again, I have gone back to my GP, ( who in my opinion) is not very good, the other one I saw has now left) :( . My GP has now said, it may be IBS, and given me buscopan, ( they have not helped at all). So rang her, she is now saying it may be trapped nerves in my spine and is sending me for a MRI ?? she was not overly bothered by the bleeding and said, just keep an eye on it ?? I have been bleeding since December ?

What I would like to ask, is when you have a scan, do they check your ovaries also. ? as not one person whom I have seen has mentioned my ovaries, I've had a lot of symptoms, ( for over 5 years now) Swollen stomach, bowl and bladder incontinence, pain in back and pelvic area. extreme fatigue, and not having much of an appetite ? I am just concerned that if my ovaries have not been checked, that they may have missed something ? what are other peoples experience in this, am I worrying over nothing.

The pain I am getting is like I am in labor, it comes on in waves and makes me feel sick, and I get sharp shooting pains in my groin and down my leg.. And my back pain is bad, I have had weeks of work, which my employers are not happy with, ( another story)......Has anyone paid to go private, and how much ? I had these pains before my operations. I have just lost a family friend to cervical cancer ( which was missed from her smear, 2 years previous). So i know things can get missed ? Sorry for the long post, Xx
