hi, I was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia, and told that I have pre cancerous cells, polyps, a cyst and a tumour.

they inserted a coil, and said that I should really just go for a hysterectomy. I'm 36, it's taken me the past 5 years to drag myself back 60% of the way back from a mistake that hapend in a routine op. (which I had to have another to even begin to think about getting well).

I don't want another operation if possible, does anyone know of anything literally anything else I could take or do to to help?!

Hi there,

Thank you for messaging us at Ask Eve.

We're sorry to hear about your frightening health problems. If the mirena is not stopping the precancerous situation of cells in your womb lining, your doctors (who have your full clinical picture) are correct in recommending surgery.

We wonder also, have you been offered testing for lynch syndrome? As you are in the younger age group bracket for this condition.

For more information about lynch syndrome, and if you would like to talk directly with Tracie, our specialist gynae nurse, please give Ask Eve a call on 0808 802 0019 or email nurse@eveappeal.org.uk

Best Wishes,

Ask Eve
