I’m 16 and I’ve had JIA for the last 5 years. It really affected my school time and my social life as before this I was a really sporty person. I have It for life I believe however I have started a new drug called benpali and it really suppresses the symptoms!

I suggest you look carefully at your diet. It is quite probable that certain foods are increasing your pain. Some people call it food allergy, but actually 'food intolerance' is a better name. You could try reading some of Patrick Holford's books, or read about improving your 'bionome' eg with live yoghurt and probiotics. Avoiding all processed foods and foods containing added sugar is a good start, and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables instead.

Good to hear you have found something that helps 😊

That's great. I'm on Enbrel which is basically the same thing and it works for me too. Have you looked at jia.org.uk ? A site specifically for you.
