After having pain in my right hand for some time, was given an x-ray which showed OA in the base of my thumb but the pain is not just in my thumb and its getting worse. It has also started in my left hand. I have been give Diclofenac cream and I take painkillers, also use CBD vape, some days they help other days they don't. I am due to see orthopaedic consultant as in my resent bloods showed high levels of inflammation.
I there anyone suffering the same and how do you cope? I do have OA in other joints and they don't really bother me.

Hi it's so painful I know my hands are so painful especially thumbs I had had Trapizectomy done on both thumbs but they still ache .As I have a problem with taking Antinflamatories I can only take paracetamol .I do use Poar Frost it's available in chemists but I get mine from Amazon it does give relief on my hands back and shoulders but for some reason not on feet .You can get it in Gel form which can be bit messy or a roll on .Hope this helps
