How much is too much Vit D 3 supplement to take? I take 2000 iu units 3 times a day. I suffer with depression especially in the winter. This year, I increased my Vit D 3 to 6000 units and feel so much better. Vit D is far soluble so will it do harm? Thanks

I have taken 400iu a day October to May. Checking my book on arthritis for an other post I noticed the recommendation to increase to 600 iu after the age of seventy. Your dose sounds very large. I would not take that much unless told by a doctor.
