Armour Thyroid
I was taking
Armour
Thyroid
from 2003 to 2016 when I was told I could no longer have it and was given Liothyronine but a much lower dose 5mcg x twice a day as opposed to 3 grains of Armour x once a day.

Armour Thyroid produced exclusively in USA?
I spoke with Roseway clinic in London who said they get their

Lactose intolerant
I am changing from
Armour
Thyroid
to synthetic T4 and T3, due to cost and that a local Endo has agreed to this on the NHS. However I’m super sensitive to lactose and the hospital pharmacy are dithering about finding lactose free options. Does anyone know which brands are lactose free please?

Armour thyroid
I have been on armour for several years and my endo is aware. 2 months ago I had a blood test which showed my levels were fairly low, TSH was 8 ish and t3 and t4 were low. So I increased my dose slightly whilst waiting for a further endo appointment. Within a couple of weeks I was hyper, no blood test

Switching from Armour Thyroid to T4/T3
I’m changing from Armour Thyoid to T4/3 prescribed by local Endo partly for financial reasons but also as I’m concerned about supply issues and monitoring. Should I swop gradually or is it better to finish the AT then start the T4/3 the next day. I currently take AT 1 grain am and 3/4 pm and have been

Thyroid and stomach issues
I have anxiety which can cause diverticulitis flare ups, stomach cramps, nausea, chills, bloating but my
thyroid
isn't helping and I would like to start on
Armour
thyroid
. I'm probably premenopausal, my estrogen is high at times on some labs.

A week ago, I started to take
Armour
thyroid
, 1 grain, moved quickly to 1.5 grains, without side effects so all is well ( was. advised by Roseways to get to 2 grains within a week, but warned by this Forum to go slowly).

T4/3 combo
I’ve been taking
Armour
Thyroid
for over 20 years. Previously on NHS but we moved house to a different area and new GP wouldn’t even discuss it.
Armour
Thyroid
is now very expensive and not easy to obtain. I’m concerned about the long term importing and prescribing issues.

Armour Thyroid for over 20 years
I have been taking
Armour
thyroid
since 2000... Have had my current Dr for at least 20. When I had COVID last time (about 2 years ago .. very mild case) I noticed my TSH was up (over 3...very high for me and on Armour). I mentioned it to my Dr and she suggested waiting, it could be temporary.

NDT Thiland
Hi, I’ve been taking
armour
thyroid
for 9 months or so now. I’m now up to 2.5 grains and the private clinic I use don’t think I’m at my optimal dose yet. I feel a lot better but the problem is that it’s very expensive. Dose anyone have any advice about getting NDT from Thailand and what brand.
