Hi Ladies.

I am struggling with my mental health. I have had PPP on three separate occasions. I have been hospitalised on more occasions than I care to recall and sent to prison twice. I had another relapse at Christmas due to going through the menopause. I am taking Depakote and Zuclopenthixol. I am struggling to get out of bed in a morning, drive cook and clean my house. My husband gets frustrated with me sometimes, but I can't help the way I feel.

I am currently studying with the Open University and it is affecting my studies.

Any advice would be appreciated.

My advice to you would to be kind to yourself you have suffered some trauma from what I understand I haven’t commented much because I’m busy with the kids but I do read your post and care about you. Any person even without trauma experiences periods where they are run down and tired. Studying is hard work and combined managing a house with feeling like you have studying to do is difficult. Can you plan some ‘me time’ a nice walk, meet with friends or a swim or something just to recoup and gather yourself or maybe a nice day out with your husband where you focus on living In the moment and having fun together. You really are doing well and maybe just need some time to relax away from all of your worries and memories I have struggled with even processing the trauma of being sectioned when I was younger so I can’t even begin to imagine prison you are a wonderful person and don’t forget that. Sending a virtual hug x
