How long did it take for you to actually feel normal again? When u first started the mess did I still have bad thoughts?

Hi Ashley031, Recovery for me was a gradual process and I guess the meds helped from a few weeks onwards when I was getting out of the worst symptoms of pp. I spent 3 months in hospital before I was able to come home where my recovery continued. My thoughts were quite disordered and I had a lot of high anxiety but with time, good family and professional support, I got there. And you can too. I know it's frustrating, I remember being so impatient to get back to normal, but it's good that you can see the difference from meds. Be kind to yourself, I hope you have good support around you too. Take care, xx
