i am worried that I am taking erythromycin whilst breastfeeding a one week old baby.i was prescribed these by an on call Dr at the weekend who said stitches were not infected .Midwife visited on Tuesday examined me ,said there was no infection but I shit wouldn't do any harm if I took the antibiotic.I am taking them but worried as I had gestational cholestasis of pregnancy and need to wait six weeks for blood test to find out if it has effected my liver .
