Does anyone have any meditation programmes I can try please? I read a couple of questions earlier whereby someone mentioned walking meditation but Ive forgotten whos blog it was on. Thanks

Hi Nannyann23,

I use a walking meditation "app" on my iPod downloaded from "Meditation Oasis". The programme provide a choice of 3 meditations to a) Be fully present, b) Enliven Body, and c) Enhance senses. It is based around Mindfulness and aims to keep your awareness focussed on what what is going on around you as you walk, i.e what you see, what you feel in your body, what you sense through touch smell, and hearing. I find it very restful and a very welcome break from from my anxious thoughts.

I also use their "Take a break" app, if I need some diversion in the office. Also "Simply Being" is a good one for mindfulness and learning how to simply "be", and appreciate how to recognise thoughts coming and going without trying to do anything about it. I often use this to relax me at bedtime and to allow me to get off to sleep. These are all from Meditation Oasis.
