Still anxious and hard to distract myself.

My stomach is in knots and eating is hard. I know it's because of the anxiety but it doesn't get any easier, I feel so tired and get stressed at each meal time because I feel sick. Then I worry I'm not eating enough. Yesterday got so stressed about sorting out breakdown cover for my car that I got in a right state and then blamed myself which didn't help.

I've been for a walk and will listen to a relaxation cd thisafternoon, trouble is yesterday I fell asleep and woke with such a start and my heart racing that it undid the relaxation. Feel like I let my mum and dad down, still livingat home at nearly 40 but can't cope alone. I'm trying to do one day at a time but it's so hard. I know you understand so I just needed to write this. Thank you.

Hi Boater

Maybe not have meal times as such , eat when you are hungry , that way you might not be as focused on , its meal time , I may feel sick i may not eat

I am sure you will be eating enough , sometimes with anxiety we dont feel like big meals & set times , but little & often they say is the best way to eat anyway

You could get some vitamins , think its complex , have a look in herbal, shop , they boost you up

Think it sounds like you went in to a real good relaxation , well done , it happens with me & then just a noise feels like a bang going of in my head , but the thing is the positive we are learning to relax , even if it gets disturbed , so thats good , keep going

Well smiled when you said 40 & still at home , my son is 18 & I would be happy if he is still here at 40 , you havnt let your mum & dad down, plenty of men are still at home at 40 & more because they want to , they no which is best lol we tend to beat ourselves up far to much

You are making real good progress from what I read here , well done , & you are right "a day at a time " ;)

Love

Don't get stress.... Going to give you good advice as I've went through it myself by loss of appettie and nausea... Go buy vitamin complex b as it help you to increase your appettie also complan milkshake but add milk in and mix it that's all you can do and drink it, they got 360 calories so you can drink twice a day if you want and they come in different flavour such as banana, chocolate and strawberry.... They do sell in Asda or tesco either chemist shop but usual on medience shelfs..... Plenty of chicken soup/minterstone (Heniz), anything are soft and easy to digest on your stomach and of course banana fruit too!! Hope it helps xx

Thanks for this, I have tried the complan vanilla and it's ok providing I let the milk warm up to room temperature otherwise too cold in my tummy.

Why is it when your appetite is dodgy every advert seems to be about food and then someone walks past my desk at work carrying a Mcdonalds!

Hope you are ok xxx
