The Mountain.

Hi All.

There once was a man in a terrible state of anxiety and fear. They said to him "You have to climb that mountain because, at the top, there is a hut with a wonderful book in it that tells you how to solve your problems". The man got everything together for his trip up the mountain. He spent hundreds of pounds getting everything together, then he set off. It took many months of hard struggle; through storms, snow and ice. He had to traverse great fissures and climb round overhangs but, one bright sunny day he looked up from his tent where he had spent a sleepless night and saw the hut just above him. He scrambled up to the hut and went inside. On a small table was a book bound in gold with his name on it. At first he as afraid to open it but finally plucked up courage and lifted back the cover. There was only one page and it said "Thou fool. Thou hast come all this way through great hardship to get here and the answer to your problem lies within you! Wherever you are, on top of the mountain or down on the plain; whatever state you are in you have the courage, strength and ability to heal yourself. You do not have to climb a mountain; go anywhere, listen to anybody; you are your own councillor, your own Guru, your own medicine. YES,YOU.You are a child of the universe; you were given this ability when you were born and you will have it until you die. Go home, look after your loved ones, lead a good life and be happy". The man came down from the mountain.......... Just a thought. Best wishes to all. jonathan.
