the heat and dizzy spells

felt awful today at work dizzy feeling my time is up still feel like it now.and constantly checking my pulse and looking at my chest and seeing it pumping fast and stomach the same how long am i going to feel like this

until you distract your mind to soemthing else, it is hard but force yourself to do it!!! hope you better today

Hello Andy37, I hope you feel better today. I used to take my blood pressure 3 or 4 times a day maybe more. I did this for about 7 years but I have now stopped as I was making myself more stressed. Try to distract yourself, I know it is hard but keep trying. By taking your pulse you are only stressing yourself more. I know how you feel when you think your time is up because I have thought this for the last 7 years but I am still here. Take care Andy. Best wishes Carol.

HI andy, i always do my blood pressure and feel my pulse and its really hard to stop. ive found this weather has made me check more becouse of the sensations im getting from the heat......body is working harder. try and keep your temperature down hopefully avoiding these horrid senasations. im walk around with a cold flannel round my neck. hope you feel better. x

this is my experience of the heat- if I feel very hot it can produce physical symptoms that are the same as feeling anxious- palpitations, dizziness, sweating, which then kicks in all the horrible unreal dizziness and panic i suffer from. I love the beauty of the high summer, but it also isn't easy time for me.
