You’re young and from what I’ve heard, the virus won’t effect young people as much as older people and those with immune issues. Maybe consult a doctor and ask their advice. Make sure to keep social distancing and wearing a mask and all should be okay!

That’s great! I find that breathing exercises and yoga help me. I hope things start to get better for you. Things are tough right now, I know!

Hi Zhiyah1012

I also agree with ShadowGerbil great advice. I will tell you not to live in fear. The anxiety will make you go crazy trust me. I got sick and panicked because I had covid symptoms. Oh btw my test came back negative . I did get a cold but I broke my own rule and went to a extended family bbq no mask/ no 6 ft. Never again. So you can still go out just be safe. The test took 5 days to get back. In that time it seems I may have been having severe anxiety attacks.

I’m going to my doctor to get evaluated to be sure. But your mind can stress you out so much you cant handle it.

So Please understand when I say I completely understand what you are going through. My son is high-risk he has asthma and a couple auto immune diseases. He is also almost 16 on July 30. It’s been very hard for him because he wants to hang out with his friends but I have to worry about his health first and foremost. I would recommend possibly gaming if you have Wi-Fi you can be able to interact still with your friends. Also I am big on the social distancing I do not really go out if I don’t have to but with that being said you still cannot stay in your house 24 seven.

So please wear a mask, bring sanitizer that has 62% alcohol in which is most. go to a park and just enjoy yourself go for a walk find a park go in early morning when there’s not a lot of people and just stay you’re 6 feet if somebody coming get out of the way so you’re 6 feet away. It seems like it might be stressful but find a park that you’re comfortable with and you know roots where you can get around people. I have a park that I go to and I am able to stay 6 feet at all times I go there I walk my dog I stay by the water I actually took my paint supplies there you can draw you could write you can listen to music. Find your own little oasis there that you can kind of zone out. Trust me you need this. If you’re not getting any exercise that energy is just building up and it’s going to cause your anxiety to be worse and you may start having panic attacks. That’s what I experienced with being sick and unable to go out at all. Once I started going out prior to being sick going to the park it was my god send because I was too isolating in the house and it became too much you need to get outside. You can go in your backyard.

If you go to a local park and maybe they have trails that you can go on.You could also go bike riding. My son that’s the one thing that he does he ride his bike to a local park and he goes and sits on a doc that is secluded from everybody else and relaxs by the water.

Let nature be your escape from all of this. I understand it’s scary but try to keep your mind off it do your social distancing wear a mask. But like the post above had said definitely talk to your doctor about your asthma. You can do telehealth visits with your docter online. Also just call the office and ask your docter to call you. If you are still concerned and don’t want to believe them that is OK.

But just please get outside and lose yourself in nature you will feel so much better.

Maybe come up with a YouTube channel in the meantime or start photography and take pictures in nature. Learn to play the drum or the guitar. You could do that in your backyard.

You can always Skype with your friends. Please don’t feel trapped there are options. Stay safe and have a good evening. Just turn the TV on and get some food get some snacks and try to relax and go to sleep for the night or do some sit ups before bed and or push-ups to get rid of some extra anxiety you may be feeling.

Also if dont have a therapist recommend getting one. You can do online visits. At least someone to talk to. They will make you feel better.

Try to reach out to your parents in the meantime.

Please know your not alone. Life is stressful but you have to not worry so much. Pick up a hobby. Maybe try a schedule. If you sleep more then 9 hours your anxiety will be worse unless sick. Exercise each day. Maybe get a punching bag.

Just read, journal your feeling and when you have good days look back on those journal entries. I truly Im sorry your feeling this way. But just try things above and make a schedule. You will feel better but have to be active and push the negative worry away. Try meditation. Breathing techniques when anxiety comes on. If you have a pet they probably would love to play.

So starting tomorrow try and schedule and exercise.

Just know find a new normal and life will not be like this forever.

Keep me posted on how your doing.

Do you have hobbies you like?

If not think of one and talk to your parents about ordering.

Good great to hear. Just think of the positive and remember to exercise. Everything will be ok.

Mantras can help if you are worrying. Just tell yourself a positive phrase to deflect the negative one.

Therapy will help. Be careful with psychiatric meds if you feel you need. Can have side effects especially for young people. There is natural remedies.

You got this. Breath no worries it will for sure get better. When you feel worried just know its only a moment in time and will pass.

First you are worried about your heart. Now it's covid. Next it will be a brain tumour then cancer. Unless you start tackling your health anxiety you will spend your life recycling these fears endlessly. Stress and fear aren't going to kill you you know. If they did you would be the only person left on the planet.

Our immune systems are very good and very efficient so read up on them.

Have you given any thought to our previous suggestions?

Have you looked up health anxiety online?

Have you gone onto YouTube for help in managing it?

There is lots of self help available whilst you are waiting for therapy. Do them now. Also look up breathing exercises for anxiety.

Z- there isn't a lot of evidence that anxiety weakens your immune system. It just hasn't been researched enough yet so don't fall on that sword quite yet. If your concerned drink juices packed with Vitamin C, one of the best things for your immune system.

Wait a minute, you have asthma? Honey, Allergic Asthma contains every one of your symptoms! You should know what they are but I'll list them for you. Wheezing and coughing, tightness of chest, shortness of breath and sleeplessness are your main symptoms. Do you have meds?
