Hey I’ve been on a diet for the past few weeks and every Saturday I will do my cheat day and after a few hours I start feel nauseas and then of the night I vomit I really worried what this could mean just looking for some reassurance it’s nothing bad as I suffer with health anxiety

Hello :-)

I know you say it is your cheat day but are you sure you are eating enough during the week ?

Your stomach will have got used to having less food , so on your cheat day it sounds like it is saying O no I cannot eat this much now or the richness of the food is to much

Make sure you are getting the balance right , I think this will be all that seems to have gone wrong especially if you are ok during the week :-)

Take Care x

Yes during the week I eat around 1600 calories a day as I’m trying to lose 28 pound , on my cheat day I kinda forget and just eat like I use to eat and then start getting the sickness feeling do you think I should scrap the eat day ?

Hi

Well done in keeping yourself healthy by loosing weight

I do not think you should scrap the cheat day but just have a little treat

I remember once been on a diet with a cheat day and all week all I could think abut was fish and chips

Cheat day came and so did my fish and chips but because my stomach had got smaller I could only eat half of them but once I knew I was full even though it was cheat day and I was not very happy I stopped and left the rest

So have your cheat day but don't go mad and as soon as you feel you have eaten as much as your stomach feels ok with then stop :-) x

Or as my old grandmother would say, your eyes are bigger than your stomach! Well done for losing the weight. It's a good sign that your stomachs obviously got a bit smaller.

I would stop the cheat day. Mayb a small treat for yourself but why make yourself sick?

Yeah I totally agree just gonna eat light food and maybe have a chocolate topped rice cake as a treat 😊

Good idea. It's good to treat yourself. But going all out and making yourself sick ruins it don't you think?

Best of luck on your weight loss plan. Focus on the goal you will get there :)

Don't feel disappointed , I did the same as I said some years ago now , we all have to live and learn , you should be proud in making the decision to loose weight and now you know not to go mad on cheat day you will not do it again :-)

If we never made mistakes how would we learn :-) x
