Heelp. I am freaking out 😫

I was hoping if you could help me out with this. I have a long history of generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. What I am experiencing is return of these all. It has returned couple of times already and each time it does that, it presents itself with new symptoms. For example first I was scared of falling asleep (thought I never was gonna wake up) then I got familiar with this symptom and when it returned again it was my heart...then it was dizziness and it has returned now again and it is my heart again. (Is it even normal with anxiety?? I mean returning with new symptoms like this?) Right now I feel my heartbeat everywhere: especially my limbs and back. I am nodding my head with each heartbeat and also I am vibrating with each beat. Like whole body is vibrating especially the legs and arms and back.these shaking and nodding is very subtle: I only notice them when I am sitting or lying down. I also feel heaviness in my chest area. And I do some yoga for 1 hour and my heart feels absolutely fine and is only pounding when it should be pounding due to the intensity of the yoga postures. I do realize deep down I guess that I am still dealing with anxiety but can you please some of you share if you had similar symptoms with anxiety?? I was with cardiologist in December 2019. He checked my heart with ultrasound machine: nothing is wrong. My heart is functioning really good indeed: he (the doctor) even complemented the size of my heart and said I would never experience a heart problem in my life) But I can't get rid of this feeling that still there is something wrong with it. Is it possible that something might really be there. After all I have had a cardiologist appointment in December and it is April now. And can you guys share with me if this nodding and vibrating is normal with anxiety??

Apparently when you’re anxious you get hypersensitive, as in you notice things more. Recently I’ve noticed my heartbeat/pulses legit everywhere. But if you’re really worried you can try calling your doctor for reassurance but I feel the same so you’re not alone x

Eloque, nodding, vibrating and anything else anxiety can throw at you is

the norm in how anxiety works. As long as we respond to what it gives us

it will continue until it gets bored and tries something else.

With each symptom it gives, our nervous symptom responds to our fears.

Causing this internal over shaking, dizziness and even heart palps.

Our body is always on high alert and needs to have some "quiet time"

in allowing both the Mind/Body Connection to lower the stress levels.

Looking on YouTube might be a way to find a meditation video that will

work for you. It takes practice and time to retrain your thought pattern

to a more positive one. Your doctor complimented you on how well your

heart was working. It's not your heart but your mind that is putting those

doubts in you. Wishing you well, one step at a time. :) xx

I just officially had been diagnosed with GAD 3 weeks ago and everything except the lightheaded I had been experiencing, my body would feel like it was shutting down so I was so scared of going to sleep and not waking up I’m only 25 and never had bad anxiety before thought I might have PTSD from my past and also having been in the military. I have family in jersey and was there back in March right before everything took a giant turn for the worse. I got tested 2 weeks later for the virus and it was negative but after reading that there were 30% chance for false negatives I was like OMG what if I’m in that 30% but had to think of all the test being done that 30% chance is not really as big as it seems. But from the day I got my results back up til now I just felt as though it was wrong and I was sick because my anxiety had my body feeling weird. I was put on Lexapro 5mg for 2 weeks then moved up to 10mg after 2 weeks since stopped because I had really bad experience with the higher dose, I decided to get a thc pen and haven’t used one in 2 years so first time made me feel weird but it’s the most relaxed I’ve felt in weeks. I’ve had all the blood test, ecg, xrays, stress test done and everything normal besides having slightly elevated BP levels. It’s had to deal with right now with everything going on and you want to be sure of what’s going on try finding something that relaxes you and see if it helps idk how you would react to certain medication or even the THC oil everyone is different but I hope you find the help you’re looking for

Yes I have been there. I would recommend keeping a journal of your symptoms. It may not be an immediate help but I’ve suffered for years, and going back and reading that I’d had those symptoms before and felt just as crazy about it being serious helped. Even when it’s a new symptom, seeing how the process progressed in my journal helped me see that the process through which the anxiety starts is usually similar. It hasn’t cured me but it helps me realize how my brain works. It’s amazing how many new symptoms come up, and sometimes those that have been hiding for years. I have had almost every symptom I could imagine and never truly had the serious disease I imagined over last 15 years. I had tests for heart a few times and everything was fine. For a while I was monitoring my pulse and freaking out when it was too high or too low but not even really knowing why that was bad. Drink a lot of water to keep from dehydration (which is a frequent cause of palpitations) - that happens to me often. Excerpts as much as you can to stay healthy and because you can usually do it without feeling worse - which is alwAys a good sign and try some meditation or yoga or anything where you focus on breath. You will be fine - I have dealt for 15 years but have still had so many months and years of happiness where anxiety didn’t rule my life.
