Has anyone experienced less chronic pain on Fluoxetine? My Md thought it could maybe help with my pain although I’m being treated for anxiety.

fluoxitine is an SSRI
some scientific studies have been done into efficacy of SSRI's in controlling pain.
This is a relatively recent article looking at what is known

I haven't actually waded through the detail but at least it might reassure you that your GP isn't just trying to fob you off
