Has anyone ever struggled with pet anxiety or constant worry about your pet.
I am a rather new pet owner and I’ve come to find that my anxiety has increased since getting her. Not saying that I would ever get rid of her or anything because she is great. But, I am ALWAYS worried that something is wrong with her and that she is always on the verge of death. I’ve brought her to the vet more times than I can count in the 10 months that I’ve owned her. It’s always reassuring to go to the vet and they tell me she’s fine, however, that feeling is always short lived and I find myself having to consistently check her gum color, respiratory and heart rate, and temp. It’s exhausting, but not matter how tiring it is, I always do it!
Any advice?

I would try and rest assured that the vet knows what they are doing. It's good to keep and eye on your pet but going back and forth to the vet can cause the animal great anxiety.
Hi whenever I get a new kitten I always worry about their health, but as time goes by and the cat is thriving I am reassured. You will be too and will be able to relax more in time.
Try not to be too anxious around your pet as they pick this up and it can stress them out.
Don't forget that that as time goes on you will know your pet a lot better and will be able to spot signs of illness quickly. As a general guide as long as they are eating, drinking, and going to the toilet there is unlikely to be anything serious wrong x
Yes, I’m always worried about my fur babies. It really stems from me losing my chihuahua that I had from the time I was born until I turned 14. He passed shortly after I turned 14 and I’ve never gotten over it. I think my anxiety has rubbed off on my new chihuahua. Poor girl.
