hey everyone!
lately I have started to notice that i get confused in a situation that i don't find appropriate. I can not decide weather the situation is out of control or am not making the complete efforts to bring it under control. I am an animal lover. I feed street dogs and they live near by my house. They have become territorial and guard dogs. They wont let anyone enter the street of my house and start to bark. I never thought that they would start to safeguard the street. But fortunately that street is the least used by locals as its very narrow and not well constructed. Now i feel the need to train them not to bark. But not being a professional i hardly success-ed to teach them other than sit or stay. And they are street dogs i cant leash them or keep an eye on them all the time. They are young dogs, turning 2 soon. what do i do? it really scares me seeing them bark on an unknown entering the street sometimes. What can i do? should I just let it flow natural? and give them time to be mature and learn by themselves? or do I intervene in every such situation, which is impossible. What is in my control? What do i do when i hear them bark, other than running and opening the door to see what happened. Its really time wasting and i get worried a lot about peoples safety as well as dogs safety. Other then that they are lovely and friendly dog. I and many other feeders love them.
