Hi just a question for members that read Claire Weekes books and cassettes . When doctor weekes talks about memory , how can we get over anxiery triggers with memory every day. My panic starts the minute I get up as memory, even when I say to myself we have been here before , I still get a lot of trembling inside yesterday was a bad day I had body jolts all, day, today because I forced myself to cook and have company although I couldn’t relax , and felt horrid , after the people left I was totally exshauted , but also felt exshauted when they were here , I don’t know the difference between constant anxiery and exshaution . I do read Claire Weekes for years , and her voice comforts me , like a friend , also when you lay down in the day does it matter if you can’t sleep and just rest. For a hour .thanks.

It probably sounds like you still haven’t accepted your feelings as just feeling and sensations. That’s good you’re telling yourself you’ve been here before because you know nothing bad actually ever happens every time. I would suggest watching this guys YouTube videos, he recovered using Claire Weekes and other tools.

Bluegirl222, No matter how many times I read Dr. Weekes book, it was a continual

learning process. She makes so much sense, it's so logical and simple, Acceptance.

But unless we practice it every day, it might not become as effective as just thinking

about it from time to time.

Once I learned to accept anxiety and not fight it, I incorporated breathing, self hypnosis

and other meditations to help me through. Did you know that breathing properly can

bring your anxiety down almost immediately. What's great is that it is always with you,

no one knows you are using it and it works. Lying down for a rest during the day can

regenerate your mind and your body. However, when time is against you, you needn't

have to take an hour...just a 5-10 "me time" can be just as effective.

I start my day in acceptance meditation and breathing. Mid day is my time no matter

where I am, to regenerate and before bed time. Even though I wound down for the

day, meditation and breathing before night sleep can help you have a more restful

sleep and help with those thoughts in the morning. :) xx

Thanks for the great advice but sometimes Agoral I get fatigue of the spirit as doctor weekes says in her books, it get so bad, you know what I mean . I find comfort in doctor weekes voice and advice. 2 months ago I was okay well, not okay but getting out , now I don’t go out , the place is a tip and I know there is no magic pill. Just perseverance and acceptance. I think I am too,old now to do all this again , I was ill years ago. But thanks for the advice...sometimes it is so so hard.

You might want to also listen to cds that are about CBT. That have helped me in the past. There is one person I have listend to and has help and she has some cds is Bellaruth Naperstak.

I am in the midst of reading Claire Weekes book and it is very interesting.

Books by John Sarno you might want to read as well. They are quite helpful.
