maybe just depends on the atmosphere good company plenty of laughter can make you drink more than usual or even if you never ate well beforehand.

Hi I have had hangovers which go for days before. Alcohol can dehydrate you so drink lots of water and have lots of rest. It can also deplete your body of vitamin B. That's the reason why I stopped drinking much. x

Don't freak out over it, it'll just make you more anxious. Your body is just still recovering, eat well, drink plenty of water, when I use to drink mine lasted for a week! I quit alcohol altogether 3 years ago cos of hangovers.

Hi Johnnie, I'm the same. It can take a week for me to feel ok again. I find its the overload of sugar that does it. I don't really drink anymore because of it. If I do have a drink out I'll go for guinness or another stout because of its low sugar content, and only have 2 or 3.

Probably did more damage to your stomach and gut than you did your brain.

Paradoxically, alcohol can cause anxiety. If you’re already prone to anxiety, the more and longer you drink, the more this can become a problem. If you don’t want to endure the rollercoaster of drinking and feeling good, followed by days of anxiety, I would recommend quitting drinking altogether, or perhaps only drinking on special occasions. Eating sensibly, getting adequate sleep, and drinking plenty of water on a regular basis will also help, regardless of whether or not you drink.

I feel like crap all week after a heavy session mate, the next day I'm literally a mess. Then through the week I'm depressed as hell! Think my body is just worn out and tired, then I start overthinking things. I slowly start to come back to earth, then a mate will phone and I'm back on it again! having vowed never again. The circle of life🤣

Yeah it's a nightmare ain't it, I literally no it's going to happen as well. I have no self control at all🤣 still could be worse.

They put nasty chemicals in alcohol you could be reacting to that

Rest eat regular and try not to worry

Think about the alcohol you drank.and avoid it next time

What drinks did you actually consume? Was it one you usually have in large quantities?

How many drinks do you usually have per week?

I have struggled with alchohol. It is 99% sugar and impairs your mind. I used to feel that drinking and smoking were "quick fixes" to stress. But, actually long term were deft making everything so much worse. As we get older our bodies react different and hangovers can last a lot longer. It gets harder to "bounce back"

I was able to associate a pattern with my drinking. Monitor how your feeling after nights out, maybe youll find an answer.

Take care💛
