Did someone get rid or reduced severe anxiety without pills by changing lifestyle without medicine? If yes, please let me know there’s a hope.

Hi I have changed my life for the better. I did try a week on medication but then came off it. My anxiety was that bad its all I could think about 24 hours a day. I went to cbt therapy and I did help a little. I just kept telling myself it's not going to ruin my life and it is all in the mind. I still have bouts of anxiety but I have learned to manage them. Good luck

My anxiety got so bad now that it seems that it takes my whole life away. I’m in my mid 20s, can’t be happy. Now all I have is my times to remember before and after anxiety. Now I’m always anxious, always thinking something will happen with me. Have trouble falling asleep and etc. The only thing I have on my mind is a HOPE that someday I’ll get better. Someday I’ll be okay and will be my old self again.

I did but didn't know that I was suffering from anxiety? I'm 64 now this happened about 38 year's when mental health wasn't talked about they just put you in a hospital. That happened to my dad, No Medication offered, just institutionalized. I haven't been using Medication for about 2 months, I'm ok, trying to keep Positive, it's Hard though. But if you Need it don't deprive yourself

My daughter had severe anxiety and panic attacks. She used a program by Dr Caroline Leaf called 21 day Brain detox. Along with biblical counseling and counseling. It was a tremendous amt of work 24/7 for 6months..then she went on a gut healing diet bc she had food allergies. All of it went away one bit at a time. She is constantly in the word...using brain detox program and sticks to the gut healthy diet. Shes a new person. Hasnt had a panic or anxiety for over 2 years. No meds. Honest hard work looking deep into the core of herself . Taking a daily inventory..trusting God to guide her and teach her thru his holy word...fellowship. she is a true testament of how when we become willing to get to the root of us we can heal.

Naturally this is up to each of us. Sometimes we need a support of med for awhile but often when it starts ppl keep needing more . Again it's up to us individually. As for me I go to scripture to help me. Even with the bouts of driving anxiety Gods word goes before me and I keep driving.

I hope this helps.
