Bumps on back of tongue

For about the past month I’ve noticed these bumps on the very back of my tongue forming like a v shape. When I was at the dentist he examined my tongue and said it looked fine. Today I noticed bumps now on the sides of my tongue at the back. Of course now I’m thinking I have oral cancer! I feel like if it’s not one symptom of something it’s another. I feel so defeated. I’m tired of being scared or anxious everyday. Anyways if anyone has the same tongue bumps let me know. It will ease my mind. Thanks!!

Hi everyone has bumps on their tonges - they are your taste buds. Your dentist is fully trained in all aspects of mouth care and if he says it's fine then believe him. x

They stick up at the back. Fairly noticeable. Maybe I’ve always had them and just noticed I don’t know. And the side ones also stick out. A bit. They aren’t painful or bleeding.

I have bumps right at the back of my tongue, sometimes one of them swells and feels really noticeable. I went to the doctors and they said they are normal x

I just noticed today bumps on the back of my tongue! They look swollen even though i have no pain. My anxiety makes me of course think my throat is closing because of these bumps. Ugh. I am only on my 2nd round of Ibrance and have been o Anastrozole since September. Anxiety is horrid.
