Pretty productive doctors appointment....

So I saw a doctor today about a few symptoms I've been having and in 10minutes I've managed to cover...worsening throat symptoms (i have reflux anyway and she's sent me straight to the local minor injuries centre for a chest xray so she can put me through for an urgent ENT referral in the next 2 weeks), she's reviewed my reflux medication and I have a prescription being sent to my local pharmacy for something new to try, I have bloods booked in tomorrow to check my iron, B12, etc etc to see if theres any reason for feeling so low and tired and she's also given me a list of things to try (meds and home remedies) for my blocked ears. I finally feel like I've seen a doctor who's listened and I actually have a plan of action. At the end of it I might feel no better at all but at least I haven't just been fobbed off with the usual 'it's probably all caused by stress and anxiety'. Xx

I'm glad you got a full work up. It's so important to be taken seriously. Helps ease out anxiety.
