1 Week In

[Autumnsa]

Tomorrow will make 1 week since I've started Buspar 5mg. And it's really doing well. No more of the constant feeling of being anxious/panicky. I have finally returned to work after having a panic attack a week ago.

Hopefully all will stay well.

I on the other had tried Buspar for 45 days and quit. Lol. My anxiety was too bad and I guess I never gave it a full chance to work. I'm glad I can laugh a little bit about it now. But good for you that it seems to work.

Yeah it works well for some and not so well for other's I've heard. Do you take other meds now since you've tried Buspar.

No I am reluctant to take meds. I was against trying any meds to begin with. I'm basically trying to do this without meds. And it's been almost 3 years since taking those meds.

It's a struggle. Sometimes when my anxiety does get bad I often wonder if I'm making my struggles worse by not giving in to meds. But then I think about how people who have managed without for a long time. And if we can even manage any point in this journey without it then we can do without. But it's still a thought I have. And may one day end up having to take meds. I hope not though.
