How many people out there suffer with undiagnosed dizziness?

Comes and goes, but has to be one of the scariest, hard to deal with symtoms....

And nothing seems to help... have tried medications, deep breathing, working on exercises.... just feel so awful, scared, and frustrated... hence the venting...

Thanks for your time, please feel free to reply, or vent you own frustrations...

Yes and I was sick of it and frustrated. They've been completely gone for about a month... haven't even thought if it. Today my dad asked me how my dizziness and tinnitus has been and I said my God I completely forgot about them! Low and behold, a few hours later I felt dizziness, and have been feeling it off and on all night! I stop and notice that my breathing is off ..like it used to be when all this was going on. I am going to do some breathing meditation before I go to bed. BTW it took a few months of breathing exercises, and acceptance, for my dizziness to go away. Well, and then come back today... I'm sure by tomorrow it will be gone 😊

I take blood pressure meds, wich I know can cause dizziness, but have been on the same meds when feeling fine ....

I have ativan that I take as needed. If anything that helps with the dizziness.

Have been to several doctors over the last 6 months and only issue seen so far is the high wich I see a cardiologist for...

Thank you for your time

Yes!! It happens to me all the time I’ve had a lot of test done and it’s nothing but anxiety

I feel it at some point literally every day, more often than not. I have such a hard time accepting it's NOT something serious. Even when I don't feel stressed or anxious mentally, it just hits and stays. It's awful, and I'm going nuts because of it!

I understand completely, it's one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with... I end up with elevated anxiety ,

Stiff neck, tension headache... wich all lead to the bad thoughts....

Just trying to talk it out....

Stay calm, I also have medication anxiety, but use everything I have too when it gets bad.

Hang in there, hope you feel better, and thanks for responding.

I see this was from a while ago but yes - I am off balance everyday at some point. I hate it, but I'm working on accepting it by seeing that, all in all, I still get around and take care of my basics. I will be very happy when it goes away, which I do believe it eventually will.

Yes it certainly does. I'll be on a walk and feel like I'm tipping over, so what I've started doing is focusing on my breathing and thinking, "I've never fallen, not once, this isn't the big deal that I think it is." It helps.

Long term anxiety, stress, depression effects our bodies with many physical ailments. I too deal with dizziness, off balance and thats just the tip of the ice berg. Lol. I went to see my Dr.,ENT did MRI, CT scan, VNG test, full blood panel work, all negative. Its our nervous system and adrenal glands is always on the ON switch. I feel we have to change our life styles and our mental thinking (mental health) with positive and understanding with acceptance. Eating more plant based foods, staying away from process foods and sugar, no caffine, exercise to let out our stressors, it's very bad to let stress build up inside of us, it causes chronic sickness in our mind and bodies, being outside in nature, meditation, Tai chi, weight lifting, getting massages (weekly) in the head, neck and upper back area thats where most of the stress build up is which in turns cause our headaches. Even go to a chiropractor to get adjusted monthly. I don't believe in Antidepressants, they don't cure do anything. I take St. John's wort or ashwaganda root for anxiety. Vitamin supplements. Talk to your health care provider first. Because of your high blood medication. I try to put less to no focus on my physical ailments and be more focus on the now. For me I think of it like its life or death. This is my regiment. I thought i share. I hope you find yours, good luck and God bless.
