Anxiety symptoms after eating

Anyone else notice the anxiety peaks after meals?

Even healthy meals.

Digestion and anxiety and heart palps..must strongly be linked..because when i have digestive issues stomach upset etc. My symptoms are much worse than when i haven't eaten.

I tell you what?! I don't have an answer to that but I want to know the same thing. I utterly get the same weirdness or anxiety after eating meals or certain things. It sometimes leave me afraid to want to eat because I either feel anxiety or stomach just doesn't agree or some type of symptom happens when I eat.

Its all tied together. When my stomach is calm.so is my anxiety.

Hi. I have the same issue. My stomach is making noises all day now. I have waves of shortness of breath and clammy hands. Of course, this causes fear and panic. I had a colonic and started probiotics to help with digestion. It helped a little. GasX seems to help too. I am seeing a doctor in february. I will let you know what i find out. All the best

Yes please do update..I woke up this morning with bad stomach upset chest and back pain. That is still going on..Its maddening..like is this gas or my heart? Do i go to the ER again or just take some sort of gas meds..i took tums that helped a little but it is still there. Neverending worry and pain. I know there is hope for all of us. We just need the right path. Hang in there.

Yes! When my anxiety is ramped up, eating always makes it worse.

Yes !!! I have heart palps and anxiety after eating ... this has only been in the last few months though xx
