Hi Tony welcome to the forum. Have you heard of charlottes web cbd oil
For epilepsy? The backstory is really amazing. I hope you find this a good community, just comment on anyone’s post is a good way to get to know people.
Hi Tony194565, my wife was also diagnosed with epilepsy back in 1979 when she was 7, despite her trying all the medications, surgeries including VNS and DBS her condition has continued to progress. I read somewhere you've been/on the new drug Briviact which I'm pleased it's helping you, my Lisa has been less fortunate with it doing nothing to help reduce her daily seizures and if anything has increased her Atonic's. I hope you have family support around you? even with 4 seizures a month the condition will be unpredictable and at times get you down i'm sure, Lisa like you can also have panic attacks which can be scary. Anyway I wish you all the best for Christmas and hope Brivact continues to help.
I hope that your wives condition improves Inthe future they are always coming up with new drugs almost yearly Briviac itself has only been out for a couple of years. I was put on it 4 months after it got licenced to be used generally. I hope that you and your wife have a great Christmas and a very happy new year 🙂🙂
Hi, sorry for the late mssg just been so tired recently with everything that's going on with my life.
I do hope that you are managing OK and that you are feeling a bit better today?
I can sympathise with your conditions and how hard everyday can be. It is very scary having seizures, and it reduces the amount of your life choices, and you can miss out on so much with all it brings.
On top of that, panic attacks... where do I start. It is totally ruined my life and I became a shell of a person with it all......... but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
It does get better, but it is hard.
I am sorry I don't want have time today to chat, but I will be back on the site as soon as possible.
Thanks for being able to share.
