Does anyone take 5htp?

I don’t personally because it says on the bottle to check with a physician before taking if your on an anti-depressant. But my bf takes it and swears by it!

I have have taken 5htp it helps build energy and support immune system but did not help my condition I would be very aware about taking anything without consulting the Doctor because the safety aspect and contradiction as what serves the best intention to your actually problems and medication
