I see a lot of people recommend taking magnesium . Would I need to see my doctor before making this decision ? Or is it just at my choice ? I know it’s a vitamin but I’m just curious .. sorry if this is silly to ask

Yes I would recommend speaking to your doctor first if your on any other medication as well. I take magnesium but am not on any meds.

I’ve read on some of the health benefits of taking magnesium, I know it helps with blood pressure and brain chemistry. If you have a simple blood exam it will show whether low or not. Samson

Hello anon99. Just now saw your post. I know it's been a while since you posted this, but, if you are now taking it, great. It's a mineral, and a vital one too. If you are taking it, try either magnesium glycinate or magnesium citrate forms of it, they are better absorbed. But, don't take a lot of it, it can have a laxative effect.
