Can caffeine cause so much damage ? I’ve been drinking coffee lately thinking I was going to be fine and I’ve noticed my symptoms getting worse . I didn’t know it was that bad for anxiety . Thought I could get away with it .

Refusetolose, Oh boy, it's pretty hard to sneak caffeine by anxiety. It can automatically tighten up those muscles in your throat and esophagus. At least that's what coffee does

to me. Now chocolate...that's a different story. :) Milk Chocolate actually calms me because it makes me so happy when I'm eating it. I even fall into a deeper sleep because of the properties in chocolate. However, it's the next day that I get a kickback from those

moments of happiness by going into a sugar low. It's at that time that all the unpleasant symptoms of anxiety come out. Everything in moderation with anxiety. :) xx

Drink lots of water and it will flush out the caffeine.

You'll be okay. Hard lesson to swallow literally :) xx

Haha....I tried to sneak coffee past my anxiety as well. Nope, not happening. It triggers my senses and my breathing gets thrown off. It was a bad start to the day. I like something warm in the morning so I switched to caffeine free tea. It's good but got stale after awhile. I was used to sugar and creamer in my coffee. My latest morning drink is hot spiced cider. It's sweet and I love apples but doesn't have all the caffeine. Try it out if you want.
