ANXIETY??..

hello all

as you can see i deal with health anxiety..if you go through my profile

anyways i had ACL surgery about 2 1/2 weeks ago on september 6..

general anasthesia..

post op was very painful.surgery finished at 1100pm...from 1200Am and rest of day i took 6 pills of norco for pain under doctor supervision..also antibiotics..the day after i took 2 norco pills and third day replaced it with advil and not i dont take anything

ive been in home literally in bed for 1 1/2 just resting..and from one day to next i started getting symptoms i would get back then..dizzines, lughtheadiness, foggy feeling, head pressure, hyperventilation, sweating nausea ..and something new..after surgery up till now ive been having yellowish stool ..soft not hard..and to top it off little red specs on it..so of course my anxiety is even more crazy because now im thinking im bleeding inside my stomach or my intestines due to the norco pills i took

i went to the ER yesterday..all labs came normal, blood count ect, ct scan of chest to rule out pulmonary emobolism, ekg normal

so now my worry right now is my stomache and my stool..my diet hasnt really been that great but i do eat big meals

im going to doctor about stool

but just sucks that right up to surgery i was fine..then after surgery everything came back plus my stomach issues..and i also get yhis cold feeling in my stomach

If you had general anesthesia, it can cause some stomach and intestinal issues. This happened to me and it lasted for about 6 weeks. You should check with your doctor, though.

thanks for your reply..went to to primary..told me that due to surgery anasthesia and antibiotics it may have messed up my digestive system..told me to take pro biotics..let hope it helps..if it keeps going on going to go to a specialist

If your stools are yellow and loose I’ve had that from anxiety. I have also had the bleeding from pain medicine I was taking. Call your dr to discuss and make yourself feel better. It takes a little while after surgery to feel normal again.
