Can’t sleep at all

Hi everyone.. I’ve been feeling so down and tired all because I don’t sleep anymore at night. I’ve got an anxiety disorder and medication for it. Cymbalta 60mg and Xanax 0.5mg. I never take Xanax for sleeping (only take it when I get anxiety) so I’ve been taking melatonin every night and it’s stopped working now. I’m not surprised but now I can’t sleep and often find myself overthinking and I can’t stop is there anything I can do or take I just want to fall asleep normally. It’s current 8.30 AM and I’ve just been tossing and turning and not sleeping at all. Do let me know if anyone is going or has gone through this and what I can do xx

Omg I just posted about no sleeping and then seen this . I have been the same . Some times I take a Xanax but it’s not really doing a lot as I don’t feel as it’s anxiety ?? I’m going to try a sleeping tablet I have got from my dad. It’s called Temaze will this help me sleep ?

Hi Jodz! I completely understand how you feel! Seems like we’re on the same boat. How much Xanax do you take? If you try sleep and don’t have anxiety, I would recommend you don’t use Xanax because it can get addicting. I haven’t used Temaze before but I do know it’s for insomnia and if you’re having sleeping problems (like me) try it out but consult your doc first just so you know more about it. Let me know how it works and good luck! I still haven’t fallen asleep yet and it’s now 12.30 pm 😅 I feel like I’m going crazy

Hi I take half of 0.5 mg so not much at all , I have had Xanax for years and certainly have not got addicted to it . Yer we def on the same boat . I will let you know how I go tonight with the Tremaze . And I’m going to Drs to get some sleeping tabs next week . I really hope you get to sleep soon . I’m at work until 9 pm and will be in bed by 10 pm so wish me luck . I’m so tired xx
